Hates:
QB Andrew Luck IND $8,700
I’m surprised his price hasn’t dropped more to tempt more people into taking him. Anyways he will probably get avoided like the plague. When you play behind a struggling offensive line and haven’t looked so hot yourself and you play the number one defense it’s not going to be good.
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick NYJ $7,500
They have him listed as the probable starter but I’m not sure how I feel about that. He hurt his non-throwing thumb last week and when he came back in he had a hard time doing anything with it. He’s just not going to be healthy enough to be at the point where he needs to be. I’m avoiding him.
RB Frank Gore IND $6,700
I’m just going to hate on the entire Colts team this week. He doesn’t have a line and Bradshaw is going to start playing his way into the rotation eventually. Gore is just a casualty waiting to happen.
RB Darren McFadden DAL $6,500
He’s going to be a great pickup in your league if you have him with Randle out of the picture but he’s not a good choice for this week. The Eagles are in the top five against running backs. Without the threat of a pass game to help, McFadden is going to have a hard time finding places to run.
RB TJ Yeldon JAC $6,400
Here’s another guy I really like going forward except this week. The Jets are even better than the Eagles ranking second against running backs. There’s a lot of running backs I like in this range so go with them over these two with tough matchups.
WR Brandon Marshall NYJ $8,100
This is once again about the health of the guys around him than Marshall or his matchup. Fitzpatrick is banged up and not totally healthy which may lead towards the ground game more. Decker is maybe staying healthy enough to start taking away targets from Brandon too.
WR Mike Evans TB $7,500
Evans gets a favorable matchup with the Giants so he may be getting some people to look at him. I’m not going to. It looks like Sefarian-Jenkins and Jackson are both going to be out leaving Evans as the only threat out there. The Giants will pay extra attention to him.
WR Donte Moncrief IND $6,400
Normally he ends up in my lineup because of his performance per his cost. This week he drops all the way down to the hate list. Once again the Broncos matchup is something I don’t want a part of and Moncrief hasn’t gotten himself involved lately, only recording two catches for 18 yards last week.
WR Reuben Randle NYG $5,500
Here’s another guy that could be a value play with a good matchup. Randle is dealing with a hamstring problem which is a major concern with wide receivers especially guys that don’t have a ton of speed to begin with. Guys like Harris and Beckham may eat up more of his targets if he gets his snaps limited.
TE Antonio Gates SD $6,000
Here is another one where you may find other guys at similar prices for more value. Rivers has been throwing the ball a ton and losing targets with Allen and Green being hurt. However Gates has been hurt as well. With how limited he has been lately I’m still not fully entrusting him just yet.
