Players to Love and Hate in Week Four Of Fantasy Football

Loves:

QB Cam Newton CAR $8,300

There were a lot of concerns coming into the year whether Newton was going to be any good or not with all the injuries on offense. He ranks second among QBs right now and is especially dangerous in the red zone with him being the second leading rusher on the team. They get a favorable matchup this week with Tampa.

QB Andy Dalton CIN $7,600

Dalton is tied with Newton in terms of points scored per game. I like him for the same reasons as I picked AJ Green this week. It’s a great matchup for the Bengals passing game this week.

QB Derek Carr OAK $7,000

I’m in love with the Raiders this week. If you’re looking for a value play here you go. He’s thrown for over 300 yards back to back weeks and is playing a Bears team that is already beginning to dismantle an already terrible defense.

RB Latavius Murray OAK $7,500

He ranks fifth among RBs on the year. Once again anyone playing Chicago should be an easy start and Murray makes that even easier.

RB Jonathan Stewart CAR $6,300

Stewart hasn’t performed like he should be this year for truly being the team’s only running back being used. Cam Newton can’t get all the short yard TDs and Stewart is due for some. Tampa has a bad defensive line so maybe this is his chance.

RB Matt Jones WAS $6,300

Matt Jones burst onto the scene two weeks ago with a monster performance. However his team played catchup the whole time last week and he wasn’t able to really get a chance to do much. The weather for this game could get ugly which favors the RBs and Jones might be the best back in this game.

WR Randall Cobb GB $8,200

Aaron Rodgers is playing San Francisco. Adams was banged up during the game last week and Cobb went off for three touchdowns. He could very well go off again this week.

WR Larry Fitzgerald ARI $7,400

Carson Palmer hasn’t had to do much the last couple weeks with the defense playing like it has but one thing for sure is that Fitzgerald and him have been on the same page. He’s averaged a little over 30 fantasy points a game the last two weeks and the Rams are weak at CB.

WR Brandin Cooks NO $7,000

Brees is coming back this week which is a boost for Cooks. Dallas isn’t great against the pass as Julio Jones had a big game against them last week and the Cowboys secondary is dealing with their injuries as well.

WR Percy Harvin BUF $5,700

Harvin is going to be one of your value plays at WR. He’s been getting looks over the weeks and with no Watkins, his value has gone up.

WR Rueben Randle NYG $5,700

Victor Cruz has been ruled out again this week with that calf injury. Randle looked like a bust with him being out until his 7 catch 116 yards and a TD performance against Washington last week. That might have been a one week performance but Eli has to throw the ball to somebody and at $5,700 why not.

TE Martellus Bennett CHI $5,500

If Chicago is going to compete in this game they are going to have to look at somebody to make plays and right now Bennett is their best option. The Raiders still have a young defense so the veteran might be able to capitalize against some inexperience to put together a respectable game with the Raiders allowing the most points to TEs.

D Broncos $4,700

The Broncos defense is averaging the most points for a defense and they are $600 cheaper than the most expensive option. They are going against Bridgewater who is more of a game manager with him throwing for 153 yards or less in two of his three games this season. Charles Johnson might not play either so the box will be stacked against AP.
