Loves:
QB Russell Wilson $8,500
The Ravens D is a far cry of where it was even a season ago, and the Seahawks are on a roll. Wilson has had a huge last two weeks with the five TD outing vs the Steelers and last week had three TD’s passing and one rushing against the Vikings. Don’t be concerned about this game being on the road, weather in Baltimore will be good enough for this game to be a high scoring affair.
RB Eddie Lacy $6,200
Many will shake their heads at this one, but don’t be shocked to see Lacy score in the teens of more this week as the Packers have had a few extra days off and will take on a Dallas team that will try to focus on taking away Aaron Rodgers and the pass game. Lacy had back-to-back 100-yard efforts, including a season-best 139 total yards and a TD against Chicago in Week 12, but was in the doghouse for missing curfew the night before the Detroit game. Look for the Pack to trust him again in week 14, and you should too.
RB Shaun Draughn $6,500
This week Draughn will get the start against the Browns, who along with the Saints are the two worst defenses in the NFL. The Browns allow 136.3 yards per game on the ground, and look for Draughn, who played with Cleveland, to take advantage of that. The back had just 36 yards on the ground last week, but had 50 in the air and scored twice. He could have a bigger day on the ground as the two-win Browns seem to stop no one running the ball.
WR Jarvis Landry $7,100
The WR for the Dolphins didn’t do much last week, and coach Dan Campbell liked that the youngster spoke out about it. Look for Landry to get a heavy dose of passes thrown his way this week as the Dolphins are on the national spotlight against the New York Giants, a team that is ranked dead last in the NFL allowing 314.5 yards per game. Landry is a quality young WR that should put up good numbers for you this week.
WR Doug Baldwin $6,800
Handcuff him with Russell Wilson, and watch how many points the two combined they can give you as the Hawks play the Ravens. He’s scored five TD’s the last two weeks, and Wilson seems to trust Baldwin more and more. He will give him plenty of chances to again get back in the end zone, and that could prove big for your team this week.
WR Vincent Jackson $6,800
The Bucs take on a Saints team that is just awful stopping the pass, as New Orleans and Philadelphia are tied for the most touchdowns to opposing receivers with 20. Mike Evans will get looks, but it shouldn’t stop there as Jackson also should get plenty of chances during this NFC South game to find the end zone. Give him a serious look, and if not him, save money for Evans, who could have a monster day against the beat up Saints secondary.
TE Tyler Eifert $6,300
Eifert is itching to get back to try and help the Bengals clinch the AFC North against their rivals at home Sunday, and he will get plenty of chances. The Steelers allow the 6th most fantasy points per game to TE’s at 15.8, and that bodes well if you have Eifert, or want to play him on your team.
K Matt Prater $4,500
Sure it’s the Lions, who are not very good, but consider that nine kickers have multiple field goals against the Rams this season, and Prater should make it 10. He’s a solid kicker indoors, and look for the Rams D to hold Detroit for some field goal shots that will make Prater owners very happy on Sunday.
D KC Chiefs $4,800
The Chiefs take on a Chargers team at home they dominated a few weeks back, and even if Justin Houston doesn’t play, they are a must play. Last week they scored 20 vs the Raiders without Houston, and could be in line for the same this week. Look for a couple picks, a few sacks, and possibly a score vs the Chargers.
