Players To Love And Hate In Week 13 Of Fantasy Football

Loves:

QB Ben Roethlisberger PIT $8,100

Roethlisberger always plays better at home and in primetime. The Colts allow an average of 273 passing yards per game. His ability to get two point conversions helps his case. He’s right there in the must starts for this week and wish I could have found $100 more to put him in my lineup.

QB Jay Cutler CHI $7,000
Cutler is another QB with a great matchup this week. The 49ers defense is terrible. The Bears offense has been plagued by injuries this year but they should finally have Forte, Jeffery, and Bennett all out there Sunday. Give Cutler some options and he can light it up if you’re looking for a cheaper QB.

RB Devonta Freeman ATL $9,000
Atlanta needs to win this game. The biggest culprit for them has been costly turnovers. In order to avoid that they should feed Freeman who is coming back from a concussion. The Bucs aren’t the greatest team and if Freeman can get going like he did at the beginning of the year, watch out.

RB Darren McFadden DAL $7,300
Once again with Romo out, the Cowboys offense is going to have to revert to the run game behind their strong offensive line. As long as McFadden stays healthy he’s the clear cut back. Washington gives up over 125 a game on the ground ranking 28th in the NFL.

RB DeAngelo Williams PIT $7,200

Williams is another running back that can benefit from a favorable matchup. He has not had many opportunities to run the ball the last couple weeks but if the Steelers want to take it easy on Roethlisberger and run the ball it would be a good week to. The Colts rank 24th in rushing defense.

RB Buck Allen BAL $6,800
After last week, Miami has moved back into last place for rushing defense. Buck Allen will get another chance to crack into it to prove his spot in the league. Although he only had 55 yards against Cleveland, he did manage to have a YPC of 4.6 to go along with a receiving touchdown.

RB CJ Anderson DEN $6,800
Speaking of teams that struggle against the run, San Diego is another one. The Broncos running back situation is a game of tug of war between Hillman and Anderson for who starts. After his big OT run I think Anderson will be the one of the two to go with.

WR Antonio Brown PIT $9,000
I’m big on the Steelers guys this week. Brown and Roethlisberger is an unstoppable combination. He had a quiet week for him with six catches for 51 yards with the best corner in the league, Richard Sherman covering him. Look for them to look his way a lot this week.

WR TY Hilton IND $7,300
Hilton has better chemistry with Hasselbeck than anybody else on the Colts. He found the endzone twice last week which is what many people were hoping they would see a lot more of from him. The Steelers allow the third most passing yards a game and without a great secondary, Hasselbeck may find some guys for a few scores.

WR Eric Decker NYJ $7,200

I like Decker a lot this week. The Giants allow more passing yards than anyone in the NFL. With Marshall playing well lately, the attention will likely shift to him allowing for Decker to continue doing what he does best. He always tends to be good for about six catches and 75 yards. If he can find the endzone then he’s a great grab for the price.

WR DeVante Parker MIA $5,200
Parker is expected to start for Miami this week with Matthews still battling a ribs injury. Parker saw 10 targets last week catching four of them including one for a touchdown. With him finally starting to see playing time, now is a good time to grab him before his cost goes up if he proves to be worth the first round pick.

TE Greg Olsen CAR $6,600
The Saints defense is my pick for the worst in the NFL this season. They might as well start to tear the team down in order to rebuild. Meanwhile the Panthers come in as the only undefeated team. Newton has been on fire and he will look to hit his favorite target Olsen all day.

TE Julius Thomas JAC $5,800
Well he came out of nowhere to have a huge week going for 116 yards and a touchdown. With Hurns out again, the focus will once again be on him and Robinson. They gave him a big contract to lure him away from Denver for a reason. It’s time for him to step up and prove against the worst team in the NFL.

TE Martellus Bennett CHI $5,200
If you want a cheap TE he would be among my picks. Once again I like anyone plays San Francisco. He returns from an injury and with everyone healthy he can draw some looks. He has yet to eclipse 100 yards on the season, but he has seen double digit targets three different times this year.

DEF Bengals $5,100
The Bengals are my top defense for the week. It’s hard to score a lot of points without getting a defensive touchdown which isn’t the easiest to come by. However the Browns may be stuck in a dilemma of what to do. They have struggled to run the ball but with a QB who came in just before the season they may try and lean on that and not score much. They may also try to throw the ball because they can’t run and if so can Cincy get enough pressure to force him into mistakes. Either way the Bengals should be a good play.
