QB Tony Romo DAL $7,900
I like the possibility of Dallas winning but if so it’s not going to be a blowout or it won’t be pretty. I think Romo can do alright but going against Carolina isn’t easy. Romo isn’t a running threat and their pass defense is top ten in the NFL.
QB Matt Ryan ATL $7,900
The Falcons are another team that is struggling after getting off to such a hot start. The Vikings are creeping into becoming a top NFL team and a serious threat in January. They are top ten in the NFL in passing defense so Ryan struggling will not be easy to overcome against this defense.
RB Adrian Peterson MIN $9,000
The Vikings rely heavily on the run, maybe more so than any other team. The Falcons have the NFL’s top run defense at the moment. With the battle of the two giants, Peterson’s matchup doesn’t justify the cost.
RB Todd Gurley STL $8,800
Without the threat of a passing attack, teams can cater towards stopping Gurley. The Ravens were able to do that only allowing him to rush for 66 yards on 25 carries.
RB DeAngelo Williams PIT $7,100
Williams somehow could not get anything going against the Browns. Now he plays a top ten defense at Seattle. It will be a low scoring game in Seattle and I don’t think he goes back to normal just yet this week.
RB Charcandrick West KC $6,900
I’m not sure if he’ll play on Sunday. If he does a RB dealing with a hamstring problem never is a good thing. Playing the Bills is also not a good thing.
WR Brandon Marshall NYJ $7,800
A touchdown is every week has been the only thing that has saved Marshall. With Decker playing, he has been the go to guy for yards. Unless Marshall finds the endzone again, he will be in the single digit points.
WR Randall Cobb GB $7,400
Since September, Cobb has yet to have a 100 yard receiving game and has only found the endzone twice. Chicago technically ranks as a top five defense against the pass.
WR Allen Hurns JAC $7,200
Like Marshall, Hurns has relied solely on the touchdown to keep him alive. The Chargers weakness is against the run, not the pass, so Robinson is the guy to grab if you want someone from Jacksonville.
WR Sammy Watkins BUF $6,800
Tyrod Taylor is hurting. With him not being healthy, he can’t roll out and buy the receivers time or throw the ball as well as if he was healthy. Buffalo gets a short week and a Chiefs defense that hasn’t allowed 20 points in six weeks.
TE Travis Kelce KC $5,800
The Bills shut down Gronk on Monday night. Kelce has just one touchdown in nine weeks.
