Hates:
QB Carson Palmer ARI $8,000
It doesn’t matter how good Palmer has looked all year, you can’t like a QB heading into the 12th man in Seattle. It’s a difficult playing environment and the Legion of Boom is a threat.
QB Marcus Mariota TEN $7,300
Don’t buy into his four touchdown performance last week. The Saints haven’t stopped anybody from scoring on them. Mariota is still growing through his rookie year but the Panthers are undefeated for reasons. Norman is their top CB and should be a Pro Bowler waiting for Mariota to throw one his way.
RB Marshawn Lynch SEA $8,000
Arizona gives up the fourth fewest rushing yards per game. He also tweaked something in his abdomen in practice this week and was limited on Friday. He’s dealt with other injuries this year and a non-healthy Lynch against a stout run defense would not be a great decision.
RB Lamar Miller MIA $7,200
Miller has had a huge breakout campaign after a slow first few weeks. My concern is he has only had 15 or more rushes once this season. With Ajayi returning from injury and impressing, he may be in line to get more carries. Miller is boom or bust based on big plays and TD potential. A few carries versus the Eagles defensive line is a tough matchup.
RB Charcandrick West KC $6,400
$6,400 for a running back who gets 20+ carries a week is a great value. However the Broncos are a top five run defense. It is a tough week for West.
RB Jeremy Langford CHI $6,200
Langford looked pretty good on Monday replacing Forte. He is going to start earning himself more playing time in the future when he comes back. The Rams still have the best defensive line in the NFL though so running on them is going to be no easy task.
WR Antonio Brown PIT $8,700
Landry Jones is starting. His numbers drop off when its not Roethlisberger. There’s no just under 300 yard performance coming this week.
WR Larry Fitzgerald ARI $7,400
Fitzgerald looked like he was on pace for a revolutionary year and then he cooled off. His only decent performances lately came against Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Both of those teams have had terrible CB play this year. The Seahawks have great ones.
WR Jeremy Maclin KC $6,500
The Broncos defense is so good all around. They can stop both the run and the pass. Maclin like West can become a victim of the matchup.
WR Tavon Austin STL $6,000
Austin has not had over four catches in four straight games. The Bears surprisingly are in the top five in passing defense. I don’t rely on WRs getting rushing or special teams touchdowns.
TE Gary Barnidge CLE $6,100
No McCown, no play.
DEF Bengals $5,000
As the third most expensive defense I don’t feel their value meets the play. The Texans have one of the best WRs this year in DeAndre Hopkins. Shorts and Washington have been great compliments and for the first time in a while they should have all three for Monday. Even if a lot of their offense has come in garbage time the Texans are capable of scoring to hurt you in the end.
