Players To Love And Hate In Week 4 Of Fantasy Football

Hates:

QB Russell Wilson SEA $8,400
14. That is the most fantasy points Russell Wilson has scored in a game this season. His leg injury is effecting how much damage he can normally do. Going to the East Coast for a game against a tough defense won’t make this week any easier.

QB Derek Carr OAK $8,000
Like the Seahawks I’m not a fan of teams going to the opposite coast to play. The Ravens are the third toughest team against the pass scoring wise and Carr has only found the endzone more than once in one game. That schedule includes favorable matchups against New Orleans and Atlanta.

RB Todd Gurley LA $7,700
Gurley has yet to get going along with the rest of the Rams offense. His 2.9 YPC ranks him 39th in the NFL. The Cardinals might be susceptible against the run but I don’t see Gurley breaking out of it against them.

RB Devonta Freeman ATL $7,200
Freeman erupted last week for 29 points after not scoring in the double digits in the first two games. The problem is Atlanta is still in a time share at RB so one big week isn’t going to stop them from using both backs. The matchup against Carolina’s defense is another strike against him for this week.

RB Spencer Ware KC $6,200
Jamaal Charles is set to make his season debut this week which will shut down Ware’s brief strong stint with the team. The Chiefs will be careful with Charles to not get him hurt again so Ware will still see touches but he isn’t going to be a viable option this week and going forward. Pittsburgh is also the fourth best team against the run.

WR Mike Evans TB $8,000
The Broncos defense shuts down opponents. Evans 20 points per game he is averaging should decrease after this one. It is smart to avoid those playing the Broncos because they look just as unstoppable as last season.

WR Brandon Marshall NYJ $7,500
Marshall gets a one on one day with the Seahawks defense that is second in the NFL against the pass. Eric Decker is out so the next best option to take some pressure of Marshall is missing. Marshall himself has yet to get going since he has yet to record a touchdown and has two games scoring less than five fantasy points.

WR Terrelle Pryor CLE $7,000
Sure Pryor had a good week against the Dolphins. The Browns have to develop more faith in Kessler and not use Pryor as a human guinea pig all over the field even though he proved he can do it to an extent. His matchup this week is Josh Norman. He’s not polished enough as a wide receiver to make good against him.
