Players To Love And Hate In Week 4 Of Fantasy Football

Drew Brees

Loves:

QB Drew Brees NO $8,600
Brees has thrown 42 or more passes in every game thus far. San Diego is dealing with injuries all across the board and their biggest weakness on defense is against the pass. New Orleans is traveling a little bit for this one but that doesn’t mean that the Chargers can stop him.

QB Kirk Cousins WAS $7,600
Cousins has the weapons to blow the Browns away. Joe Haden and Tramon Williams are both injured for the Browns leaving a young secondary to deal with the variety of talent Washington has on offense. As long as Cousins keeps himself grounded he can put up big numbers all day.

RB CJ Anderson DEN $7,900
The Bengals defense made it tough for him to get going last week but Anderson seems to rebounding after last year’s down season. Tampa Bay has struggled in games this year and the Denver defense might cause some turnovers leading to short scores for CJ.

RB DeMarco Murray TEN $7,300
Murray has enjoyed success in Tennessee after a disaster in Philadelphia. He has at least 18 fantasy points in every game and goes against a Texans defense that excels against the pass. However they struggle against the run leaving a nice workload for Murray in a return to Texas.

RB Jordan Howard CHI $5,600
Two other injured RBs ahead of him means Howard should see a lot of work against a Lions interior defense that can’t stop the run. Hoyer did alright his last game but the Bears can’t throw it 49 times with him if they want to win.

WR Jeremy Maclin KC $6,900
It isn’t a good week for fantasy wide receivers if you ask me. I do really like Maclin’s matchup though. The Steelers are the third worst against the pass and rookie Carson Wentz lit them up for 300 yards last week. Alex Smith isn’t a burner but Maclin is averaging 10 targets a game which should be good for something.

WR Jameson Crowder WAS $6,000
I mentioned how the Browns corners are hurting and Crowder has at least seven targets in every game. He’s also scored a touchdown in each of his last two games and should be among the best buys for a cheap price tag.

TE Coby Fleener NO $5,400
Fleener might finally be getting his engine moving after a slow start to his New Orleans career. After three catches the first two weeks combined, he had seven last week for over 100 yards and a touchdown. His targets have gone up too so he may start being an every week guy in that offense.
