COLUMBUS, OHIO– The last time Cornerstone Christian (21-7) won a state title was 2016. They will have a chance to take another one home this year after topping Hiland Berlin, 51-41, in the Division IV semifinals on Thursday.
Cornerstone Christian was led by senior Michael Bothwell. The Furman University commit had 22 points, four rebounds and four steals. Also leading the way was senior Kendall Sanders with 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Hiland Berlin (23-6) was led in scoring by Scott Troyer, Kendall Hochstetler, Kobe Troyer each with 10 points.
