Well, that didn’t take long.
Former Browns wide receiver Kenny Britt has signed with a new team and will gear up for a playoff race in the AFC. That’s right, it’s been less than a week and the New England Patriots have made a move for Britt. New England has brought in the veteran wide-out to strengthen their receiving core.
The #Patriots are signing WR Kenny Britt to a 2-year deal that locks him in through 2018, source said. This was his top landing spot.

Not only is Britt going to be a Patriot for the remainder of the season, he will also be under contract for the 2018 season.
Britt had an ugly time with Cleveland, catching eighteen balls for 233 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Stats aside, it isn’t surprising that the Pats picked him up, as they are usually searching for that under-the-radar move. New England will be hoping they score the Los Angeles Rams’ version of Britt, just like the Browns were.
