PART TWO: Behind The Scenes With The Lorain County Nightmares Of The PAFL

ELYRIA, OHIO– The Lorain County Nightmares are a non-profit, AAA football team located in the heart of northeast Ohio. The organization began in 2012 with owners Vaughn Sprinkle, an alumnus of Heidelberg University, and Mitch Tulk and Sonny Hazelwood, former all-American selections at Baldwin Wallace University.

The Nightmares play in the PAFL (Premier Amateur Football League) It is a league that includes teams in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.  They are off to a hot start in PAFL action and have a huge game coming up this Saturday night, at home against the Pittsburgh Rangers.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m., and gates open at 6.  Kids under the age of 5 receive free admittance, and tickets for everyone else are just $5.  A lot goes into a football team, blood, sweat and tears no one sees.  The Nightmares are taking you behind closed doors for a brief look at just how hard they prepare for games.
