“He’s been consistent all year for us and basically he just throws strikes,” Presloid said. “He makes them put the ball in play and we have a good defense. He puts pressure on the hitters and gets ahead in counts. He attacks every hitter out there and like I said our defense is good enough where we can make plays behind him. He doesn’t walk guys, he’s very efficient.”
Parma will take on Brecksville tomorrow with a chance to advance to the district semifinal.
Valley Forge ends their season with a tough loss to Parma.
“It was the worst temperature season in high school baseball history,” said Valley Forge Baseball Coach Izzy Santiago Jr. “A lot of stuff happened this year that was out of our control with some injuries and some ineligible players and we had to fight through it and that made for a longer season for us. Believe it or not, we’re right on track [for games played]. We played 8 games in one week so we’re right on track.”
