Round 1 Carson Wentz QB North Dakota St.
Carson Wentz seems to have solidified himself as the top QB in the draft. I’m very 1A and 1B on him and Goff. What Wentz does have is the better size at 6’5” 237 pounds that fits well in the AFC North. Questions remain about the level of competition he’s faced and how he tends to lock in on some targets. What he does do well is he has the athletic ability at his size that makes him a threat and he was under a more pro-friendly system at North Dakota St. compared to other QBs. He has excelled at everything he has done this offseason and the Browns need to find their long term answer at QB.
Round 2 Will Fuller WR Notre Dame
The Browns need to go find a WR to help their new franchise QB out. I would love for the pick to be Doctson or him. His size isn’t the best figuring the Browns need some bigger receivers but at 6’0” 186 pounds he does provide a much needed vertical game. He was the fastest receiver at the combine in a very slow class and the Browns lost their main vertical threat with Travis Benjamin leaving. Fuller has acceleration that matches his speed and will be tough for corners to stay with and often gets a great cushion because of it. His hands can be a concern but that can be worked on.
