The Orange High School Track and Field program hosted the 81st Dale Kramer Relays and celebrated senior night on Friday.
“Senior night was great, luckily the weather held off for us, no rain,” said Orange High School Head Track and Field Coach Rachel Frutkin. “The meet went really well. We had a really great timing crew out here. We had really great officials.”
Winning the 1600m for the Orange Lions was senior Brian Gent, an NCAA Division I track and field commit who will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the Fall.
“He’s our top 1600m and 800m runner,” said Frutkin. “He has made great strides in his career at Orange and we’re really proud of him. We will definitely miss him.”
In addition to Gent winning the 1600m, Orange won the Boys 4×110 shuttle hurdle relay (Sam Russo, Luke Schmotzer, Jonah Frey, Naashon Colliens).
