The Ohio online sports betting picture is starting to take shape. The Ohio Casino Control Commission (OCCC) has started announcing approval for some of the mobile (and retail) operators ahead of the Jan. 1 universal launch date.
Below you will find the Ohio online sportsbooks that have received at least conditional approval.

Online Sportsbooks Coming to Ohio
This is the list of approved mobile sportsbook apps as of Oct. 22. This is not a final list as the OCCC will continue to provide updates as we get closer to the New Year’s Day launch.
FanDuel Ohio
Ohio residents may already be familiar with the FanDuel brand as it has operated its daily fantasy sports platform in the state for several years. Thanks to a partnership with Belterra Park Racino in Cincinnati, Ohio bettors will also be able to use FanDuel Sportsbook once sports betting launches.
In fact, new users who sign up for FanDuel Sportsbook prior to the actual launch day can claim $100 in free bets. Use our exclusive FanDuel pre-launch promo code link and register for an account by Dec. 31, 2022, to claim your bonus.
FanDuel users will also be able to claim a standard new user promo, which we expect will be a $1,000 no-sweat first bet offer.
Caesars Ohio
Caesars Sportsbook will be bringing decades of gambling experience and a sterling reputation when it launches in Ohio. Caesars has partnerships with both Scioto Downs and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In addition to the Caesars mobile app, Ohio bettors will also be able to place wagers inside Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, home of the Cavs.
Betfred Ohio
Betfred has been an international sports betting leader for quite some time. Despite a slow start in the US, the UK-based platform has really started to ramp up its expansion here in the states.
Betfred has partnered with the Cincinnati Bengals but unlike the Cleveland Browns, the Bengals have no plans for a retail sportsbook at Paycor Stadium.
PointsBet Ohio
Partnering with Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley in Youngstown, the PointsBet sportsbook app has two features that are truly unique.
Bettors can maximize potential winnings by using the ‘PointsBetting’ wagering style. This allows users to win more (or lose more) based on the outcome of the game.
The “Name a Bet” feature allows users to submit a bet not found on the platform and PointsBet will price it.
Barstool Ohio
The Barstool Sportsbook is incredibly popular among those who are followers of the brand and fans of the personalities that accompany it. Barstool Sportsbook has received approval to launch in Ohio and is partnered with Hollywood Casino Columbus.
Bet365 Ohio
Another sportsbook with international ties, bet365 has partnered with MLB’s Cleveland Guardians. With 80 million worldwide users, Ohio bettors can feel confident in using bet365.
SuperBook Ohio
Although the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas is one of the most popular sports betting names in the industry, its mobile app is trying to catch up. Having partnered with FC Cincinnati, Ohio will be the sixth state to offer the SuperBook mobile app.
