It was a wild weather night on Thursday as some schools opened their football season.
The game of the night may easily have been between Ursuline and Steubenville. Storms rolled across the region causing a delay of over an hour. Play didn’t resume til after 11pm. Ursuline had the lead 36-20 when the weather delay was lifted. There were 5:06 minutes left in regulation. Steubenville attempted to mount a comeback with an Elijah Mullins touchdown and a successful two-point conversion. They fell short and Ursuline held on to win 36-28.
