Cleveland Heights’ Tyreke Smith made it official today at his high school: He’s an Ohio State Buckeye.
In a gymnasium filled with family and friends, the talented Tigers defensive star walked up to the podium gripping his Ohio State lid. Smith thanked everyone who supported him along the way and threw on the Buckeye hat, solidifying the commitment to Columbus. With Smith’s signing, the four-star defensive end contributed to what was an already huge recruiting class once again for Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes.
It was a moment for Smith that he’ll likely never forget. But now, it’s all eyes on the Scarlet and Gray and how he can make the Big Ten Champions that much better this upcoming season.
