It’s the final week of the regular season for Ohio High School Football.
Throughout the state, teams will be fighting for playoff seeds and conference titles.
Here are some of Northeast Ohio’s Week 10 games, which will have conference title implications.
Akron City Series
Akron East (6-3, 5-0) has a chance to go unbeaten in the conference, as they take on Akron Garfield (3-6, 2-3).
If Akron East loses, and Buchtel (4-5, 4-1) defeats Firestone (3-6, 2-3), then East and Buchtel would finish 5-1 in the conference, but East won their head-to-head meeting.
Chagrin Valley Conference: Chagrin Division
Perry (9-0, 6-0) has clinched the Chagrin Division title, but could remain perfect if they defeat Harvey (1-8, 0-6).
Chagrin Valley Conference: Valley Division
Cuyahoga Heights (9-0, 6-0) looks to win the Valley Division title, as they head to Independence (7-2, 5-1).
If Independence wins and Kirtland (8-1, 5-1) defeats Hawken (2-7, 2-4), there will be a three-way split for the Valley Division title, as all three teams would be 6-1 in conference play.
Federal League
Massillon Jackson (7-2, 4-1) controls its own destiny, as they host Hoover (4-5, 1-4).
GlenOak (6-3, 4-1) hosts Massillon Perry (7-2, 4-1) in a battle that could determine the conference champion if Jackson falls to Hoover.
Massillon Jackson defeated both GlenOak and Perry earlier in the season.
Great Lakes Conference
Holy Name (6-3, 5-0) hopes to finish off conference play undefeated, as they travel to Rocky River (5-4, 3-2).
Bay (6-3, 4-1) heads to Parma (5-4, 3-2), but the Rockets lost to Holy Name earlier in the season.
Greater Cleveland Conference
Medina (8-1, 5-1) hosts Solon (8-1, 6-0) for the Greater Cleveland Conference championship.
Lake Erie League
Cleveland Heights (6-3, 3-0) hosts Lorain (7-2, 4-0) for the LEL title.
North Coast League: Blue Division
Archbishop Hoban (8-1, 4-0) already wrapped up the Blue Division title, but can finish undefeated in conference play with a win over Benedictine (3-6, 2-2).
North Coast League: White Division
Warren John F. Kennedy (8-1, 3-1) hosts St. Thomas Aquinas (8-1, 4-0).
St. Thomas Aquinas wins the White Division if they defeat JFK.
However, if Warren JFK wins, Villa Angela-St. Joseph (4-5, 3-1) could finish in a three-way tie, if they defeat Cleveland Central Catholic (3-6, 2-2).
Patriot Athletic Conference: Stars Division
Buckeye (8-1, 4-0) already clinched the Stars title, but can finish off a perfect season of conference play if they win at Brookside (1-8, 0-4).
Patriot Athletic Conference: Stripes Division
Columbia (8-1, 4-0) clinched the Stripes title and looks to go unbeated in Stripes play, as they host Oberlin (4-5, 2-2).
Portage Trail Conference: County Division
Crestwood (8-1, 4-0) clinched the County Division title and hosts Waterloo (2-7, 0-4).
Portage Trail Conference: Metro Division
Woodrige (9-0, 6-0) looks to keep their perfect season in tact, as they host Akron Springfield (5-4, 4-2). Woodrige already clinched the Metro Division title.
Senate Athletic League
Glenville (6-3, 6-0) hopes to keep its conference streak alive for yet another season, as the Tarblooders have not lost to a Senate League opponent since 1997.
Glenville travels to John Marshall (1-8, 1-5).
Southwestern Conference
Avon (9-0, 8-0) already clinched the conference title and hosts Olmsted Falls (7-2, 6-2).
Suburban League: American Division
Aurora (8-1, 5-0) already won the American Division title and hosts Tallmadge (2-7, 0-5).
Suburban League: National Division
Hudson (7-2, 5-1) travels to Brecksville-Broadview Heights (8-1, 5-1).
If Hudson wins, they earn the outright National Division title.
If Brecksville-Broadview Heights wins, their fate will be determined by the outcome of North Royalton (3-6, 2-4) vs. Stow-Monroe Falls (8-1, 5-1).
Here is the simplest way to break it down:
Hudson win = title
Brecksville-Broadview Heights win and Stow-Monroe Falls loss = BBH title
Hudson loss, Stow win = Stow title
Western Reserve Conference
Chardon (9-0, 6-0) already clinched the conference title and looks to stay perfect, as the Hilltoppers travel to Willoughby South (5-4, 4-2).
