NORTH ROYALTON, OHIO— The North Royalton Bears are seeking their first win at home, and will host the Hudson Explorers on Friday, Sept. 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Gibson Field at Serpentini Chevrolet Stadium.
The Bears are coming off a 41-28 victory against Twinsburg High School, pushing their record above .500. They are currently third in the Suburban League behind Wadsworth in second, and Hudson in first place.
The Hudson Explorers are 2-0 in conference games, and are coming off a 41-14 blowout win against Nordonia. They will look to stay undefeated in conference play with a win over the Bears.
Quarterback Colt Pallay, (who has 247 total yards per game) and running back Kevin Callahan (who leads the team with 79.2 rushing yards per game this season) will lead the Hudson Explorers.
Standout quarterback Joe Marousek, who led the way for the Bears against Twinsburg with five total touchdowns, is averaging 225.8 total yards and 176.2 passing yards per game. He will lead the North Royalton Bears along with running back Zach Antonio with 56.8 rushing yards per game.
