This is gonna be a good year in the Southwestern Conference (SWC)! North Ridgeville came home to play Olmsted Falls, after they fell short in Amherst last week by 1 run. But make no mistakes, North Ridgeville is loaded with offense, defense and can put runs on the board. Today’s pitcher was Naomi Bottomlee (#5) and she had Olmsted Falls guess on her pitches all through the game.
In the bottom of the first, the Rangers struck first and put three on the board. Aggressive running, great hitting had the home crowd cheering as loud as the team.
The Bulldogs managed to get runners on the bases but could not get to home plate as Naomi Bottomlee kept throwing great pitches and striking the hitters out.
Autumn Behlke (#8) took a pitch from Olmsted Falls pitcher and sent it screaming over the left field fence for a home run. Final in North Ridgeville today.
Rangers 7
Bulldogs 0
