32. CLEVELAND BROWNS 0-2 ⇔
Last Week: 32nd
Cody Kessler is going to be getting the start for the Browns this week against Miami. A great start to the game last week as the Browns scored 20 points in the first quarter, a feat that fans haven’t seen since 2009. Isiah Crowell is now the 3rd leading rusher in the league after his 133 yard performance, most of which came on an 85-yard gallop to the endzone. Clipboard Jesus – Charlie Whitehurst – was signed to ensure the Browns still have an arm to go to if the offensive line continues to play “O-lay” football and let the front seven have complete control of the game again.
The defense couldn’t get to the quarterback, totaling zero sacks and only hitting Joe Flacco 5 times. There’s a lot of issues with this side of the ball but the only way to work it out is through live reps or acquiring some better talent. Since it’s only the end of Week 2, it seems playing through the pain of having an in-experienced roster is the only option. Corey Coleman looks very promising after his break-out game, amassing 104 yards on 5 catches and a pair of TD’s. Did the Brown’s finally hit on a 1st round pick?
