16. DALLAS COWBOYS 1-1 ⇑
Last Week: 19th
Ohio State alumni Ezekiel Elliot put the ball on the ground not once, but twice this past week losing one of the fumbles to the defense. Even though the Cowboys got the win, the growing pains will be plenty as both Elliot and Dak Prescott will continue to gain experience in the league.
17. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES 2-0 ⇑
Last Week: 20th
Boy, that QB the Browns passed up on looks pretty good, eh? Carson Wentz found a way to get it done in Week 2 and now Philly stands firm at 2-0. This week will be the toughest test to-date for the young QB as the Steelers come to town for some civil war action.
18. WASHINGTON REDSKINS 0-2 ⇓
Last Week: 15th
This organization looks pretty smart not giving Kirk Cousins that giant deal following last season. While I am positive they would rather him perform well, the franchise tagged QB is underwhelming to say the least in these first two contests of the season. A shallow grave has been dug, but there is more than enough time for Cousins to get his act together and climb out of it.
19. ATLANTA FALCONS 1-1 ⇑
Last Week: 24th
Matt Ryan was 4 yards short of 400 passing in the epic comeback against the Raiders. Three TD’s on top of that and the Falcons have long forgotten the poor performance in Week 1. They’ll have an extended weekend, playing New Orleans on Monday Night Football.
20. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS 1-1 ⇓
Last Week: 16th
The offensive line couldn’t handle the rush from Arizona’s front seven. Jameis Winston tallied up 5 turnovers. (4 INT, 1 fumble.) Hopefully, they can gain some traction again when they come home for the Week 3 match-up against the L.A. Rams.
