DT Derrick Nnadi Florida State
Nnadi is an undersized 4-3 DT that will go on day two in the draft. While his tape is impressive I have concerns about him translating to the NFL as an athlete. He is undersized as I said at 6’1” 299 pounds. With a scheme limit already he would probably have to make up for his lack of size with speed and athleticism to beat lineman. At the combine, he ran a 5.38 40 which tied for worst among the defensive lineman. He was also dead last in the 3 cone and 20-yard shuttle by almost 0.2 of a second slower than whoever beat him. I just can’t see him succeeding against bigger and stronger talent with those limitations.
