AVON, Ohio – Avon running back Mason McLemore took control of the game on Friday night against the visiting Berea Midpark Titans and braved the blistery weather to lead the Eagles to a 42-7 victory.
The visiting Titans could not stop McLemore as he ran wild all night long. He ran for 98 yards in route to scoring 3 touchdowns to keep the Eagles comfortably ahead all game long.
The Eagles have been known for their QB tandem all year of senior Matt Kelly and mobile sophomore Ryan Maloy but this past weekend it was running as his counterpart Aaron Endrizal also had a big night with 114 yards on 12 carries.
The Eagles will need McLemore to step it up again this coming Friday night as they look to complete a perfect season as the feisty 7-2 Olmsted Falls Bulldogs visit the nest.
