Lexi Boyk displayed signs of athleticism from an early age. She started running shortly after learning how to walk and has not stopped since.
Lexi started gymnastics at the early age of two and at 7 she was competing in level 4 gymnastics. In the meantime, at 5 Lexi got involved with soccer through the rec. At the age of 6 she started Club Soccer, her ability was crazy and they moved her up to U14 when she was 8 years old.
This is where her passion for soccer started! At 9, she thought she would try rec basketball and she was great at that too. At that time she was well recognized in soccer and basketball and still is. Other parents would comment on her potential of becoming a great athlete.
As a sophomore at Berkshire High School Lexi has already broken school records. She holds the most points in a high school career and she has done this in less than two seasons. Lexi has played 29 games in just under two years. She has scored 47 goals which is a school record, she also has 27 assists which is another school record. Currently Lexi is 7th in the state for goals(D1 through D3).
She’s also placed 31st in the state with assists. She puts in maximum effort and is an unselfish player that tries to distribute the ball to get her teammates involved. She is strong with both feet and is able to distribute the ball effectively down the field.
Her speed has definitely been a huge help along with her working on her foot skills. Lexi is the only high school player that does this amazing front handspring throw in that is always a crowd favorite! If you haven’t seen it you should.
Lexi is a three sport athlete from playing soccer (midfielder) to basketball (point guard) to track. She does all this while holding down a 3.2 gpa
She lettered in all three sports as a freshman. Her main focus is on soccer and track. She made it to Regionals as a freshman for track in the 100 meter hurdles and almost qualified for regional finals but missed it by .001 seconds. Lexi also went for 300 meter hurdles.
Her extracurricular activities are:
YAC it’s a leadership program
