29. HOUSTON TEXANS (30)
All signs lead to Brian Hoyer being the starter – again. Head coach Bill O’Brien has completely miss-handled the QB room and as a result the record of his football team has suffered. But hey, DeAndre Hopkins had 11 catches for 169 yards. That’s something to be excited about, right?
30. SAN FRANCISCO (29)
Tough loss for bay-area fans. Colin Kaapernick finally put some points on the board with some impressive drives and Carlos Hyde was able to find the end-zone, finished seven yards shy of a 100-yard rushing performance. Not enough to win, but enough to keep them out of the Bottom 2 on our list.
31. NEW ORLEANS (25)
Well New Orleans, I wish I knew how to fix you. Mostly, the defense is surrendering too many points to opposing offenses and it’s as simple as that. Drew Brees can throw for 335 and 2 TDs and still lose by 22, which is a main reason this team dropped for Week 6. Atlanta is coming to town and that is not a match-up in favor of the Saints non-existent defense.
32. DETROIT LIONS (24)
The only team without a win this year, so it is only fitting to place the Detroit Lions at No. 32 this week. Motor City fans are having Vietnam-like flashbacks of their 0-16 season after seeing their “franchise” QB, Matt Stafford, benched for the guy that ran out of the end-zone for a safety that unforgettable year against the Vikings (Dan Orlovsky). The Lions play Chicago this week so Detroit fans are hopeful to get their first W of the season.
