10. MINNESOTA VIKINGS (16) 3-2
Not many people on the Minnesota band-wagon this year and I really cannot understand why. I get it, the offense and defense can be inconsistent. Given the results of wins and losses this past week, the Vikings have ascended into the Top 10 after defeating KC. Just as fast they got here, they can fall just as fast if they lose to the Detroit Lions this week.
11. ST. LOUIS RAMS (15) 2-3
A week of rest for the Rams and I’m sure Todd Gurley was appreciative. The rookie RB has amassed over 300 yards on the ground alone in his last two games. Coming off the bye, the Rams will welcome the Cleveland Browns extremely weak run defense. I turned my TV on this morning and Nick Foles was on a waiver wire pick-up spotlight segment this week. Oh, brother.
12. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (17) 3-3
The Eagles didn’t just beat the Giants, they dismantled them. DeMarco Murray touched the ball 22 times on rushing attempts and finished with 109 yards and TD that came off of brutal stiff-arm on his way to the end zone. As mentioned under Carolina’s ranking, the matchup against the Panthers is crucial to Philly’s season going forward.
