4. CAROLINA PANTHERS (7) 6-0
Greg Olsen’s 26-yard TD reception with 0:32 left in the 4th quarter sealed the victory for Cam Newton and the Panthers purrfect record is safe – for this week. Clear your schedule Sunday night as the Eagles will take a trip to the beautiful Carolina’s to take on the Panthers in prime-time this week.
5. DENVER BRONCOS (5) 6-0
More than likely, Peyton Manning has played his last game in Cleveland. Browns fans were hopeful it would end in a loss for the Broncos after an over-time INT looked to be the deciding factor in the outcome of the game. However, the Broncos did what they have done since Week 1 – find a way to win the game. I find it hard to rank them higher than 5 just given their poor performance all-around on offense, but Top 5 is an exclusive group to be in these days as this ends the list for the undefeated teams in the NFL.
6. ATLANTA FALCONS (3) 5-1
Home to one of the most high-powered NFL offenses, Atlanta has suffered their first loss of the season. The score read 24-7 at the start of the 4th quarter with the Saints on top, and they would finish at the top winning 31-21. No need to panic in Atlanta, as the Falcons will Travel to Tennessee to take on the Titans this week.
