29. TENNESSEE TITANS (23) 1-4
Marcus Mariota suffered a sprained MCL in this one. Unfortunate, but the rookie QB has been struggling as of late. Sitting at 1-4 does not bode well, especially now with an injured quarterback.
30. DETROIT LIONS (32) 1-5
So there will be no win-less teams this year in the NFL. Darn. Maybe being benched was exactly what Matt Stafford needed, finishing with 405 yards passing and 4 TDs. The Vikings are next-up on the guest list at Ford Field this week and the run defense better be ready against AP.
31. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (28) 1-5
If you need yourself a bye-week QB, maybe take shot with Blake Bortles. If you’re betting money on the Jaguars winning against the Buffalo Bills this week, just set your money on fire and stub your toe because you’ll be shouting by the end of the game. Bortles looks to be making strides but they have not resulted in wins for the football team. No Bueno.
32. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (21) 1-5
Sticking this team at the very bottom where they belong. The injury to Jamaal Charles couldn’t have come at a worse time with the team already struggling to stay competitive in games, not to mention even winning them. I really don’t like their odds against the Steelers this week and I really don’t care for them the rest of the season for that matter. The run game, much like their season collectively, is in trouble and I don’t see Kansas City climbing out of the bottom any time soon.
