19. MIAMI DOLPHINS (17) 3-4
One cannot downplay the significance of losing defensive end Cameron Wake, the second leading sack machine in the NFL. Shame that Dan Campbell had to take that beating from Tom Brady and the Bunch but something tells me Campbell has the trust of his players at this point.
20. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (20) 3-5
Very slick conditions in the Carolinas this past Monday night as Andrew Luck threw 3 INTs in the torrential down-pour that almost ended in Indianapolis’ favor. Keeping up with one the Elite teams down to the wire was enough conviction for me to let them hang on to the No. 20 spot. Peyton Manning will return to Lucas Oil Stadium this week when the Broncos come to town.
21. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (26) 3-4
Knocking down the Atlanta Falcons from their proverbial pedestal was on the Agenda for the Buccaneers, and succeed they did. It wasn’t pretty, but the Bucs managed to hang on to beat a solid team.
22. DALLAS COWBOYS (22) 2-5
0-5 without Tony Romo this season – Romo is set to return in Week 11 but two more losses could set a team off on a horrible path to the end. The Eagles will be stopping by this upcoming weekend and if Matt Cassel continues this off-the-street stretch of play I would expect them to be on the losing end of that one.
