10. PITTSBURGH STEELERS (8) 4-3
Okay so maybe Landry Jones isn’t the next best thing at QB for Pittsburgh, at least for now. With Ben Roethlisberger expected to return either this week or next week, I found it hard to drop this team out of the Top-10. Also, their game this week against the Bengals will be a better decider in their rankings fate than the egg-laying loss to the Chiefs with a 3rd string QB.
11. ST. LOUIS RAMS (11) 3-3
Well that was just rude, Todd Gurley. The rookie running back embarrassed the Browns’ front seven and caught them with their pants down on his way to 2 TDs and 128 yards. Forcing four, yes four, turnovers also helped the Rams case in the trial of victory. If this team can pull out a W against San Francisco this week it is very possible to see this team in the Top-10 next week if things play out well.
12. NEW YORK GIANTS (15) 3-4
An all-around team win for the G-Men and a crucial one at this point in the season. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie took an INT to the house early in the second half and Dwayne Harris’ 100 yard kick-off return on the 4th quarter that put the Giants on-top was a momentum shifter, and ultimately was the game winner.
