4. GREEN BAY PACKERS (4) 10-4
Now riding a 3 game win-streak, the Packers are making a strong case for the NFC North title. However Week 16’s matchup pits Green Bay against the high powered offensive attack this the Arizona Cardinals this year — should make for an exciting game this upcoming Sunday.
5. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (5) 9-5
What is “elite?” Mike Pettine and the Browns got a taste of what an elite franchise can do on Sundays. Russell Wilson finished a yard shy of 250 yards through the air and capped off his performance with 3 TDs and 46 yards rushing as well. Without Marshawn Lynch and Thomas Rawls, the Seahawks were still able to find success on the ground and that is promising for the frequent post-season flying Pete Carroll committee.
6. PITTSBURGH STEELERS (6) 9-5
If you happened to watch any Steelers games this year there were two common observations; Ben will throwin’ and Antonio Brown will be catchin’. Roethlisberger welcomed Denver last week by tossing 40 completions for 380 yards and 3 TDs. On the receiving end, Brown finished with 16 catches for 189 yards and 2 TDs.
7. CINCINNATI BENGALS (7) 11-3
Thanks to some lackluster offensive possessions by San Francisco this past Sunday the Bengals were able to hang on for their 11th win and have some breathing room with Pittsburgh hot on their trail in the AFC North title race.
