28. BALTIMORE RAVENS (28) 2-6
If the game against the Browns would have gone the way Baltimore wanted to earlier in the season, their position in the power rankings would probably see them above Cleveland. The Ravens are back in action after the bye and will play the Jaguars in Week 10.
29. HOUSTON TEXANS (29) 3-5
The Texans and Brian Hoyer had a whole extra week to prepare against the Bengals on Monday and will need to execute at the highest level possible if they wish to see 4-5 after this week. DeAndre Hopkins is quietly putting together a monster season and will likely be a main part of Houston’s game plan.
30. TENNESSE TITANS (31) 2-6
Mike Mularkey is now 1-0 as head coach of the Tennessee Titans. Also, Marcus Mariota turned in a No.2 overall selection worthy game finishing with 4 TDs on 371 yards passing. “So you’re saying there’s a chance?” No, Lloyd, there is no chance.
31. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (3) 2-6
Another stat packed game for Blake Bortles, who minus the two costly interceptions could have given the Jets an upset loss. Wide receivers Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson are continuing to impress, both going over 100 yards against the Jets a week ago.
32. DETROIT LIONS (32) 1-7
Playing against a division opponent is hard enough, unless you’re New England, but the Lions have Green Bay standing in the way of 2-7 this season for Week 10. Hey, at least Detroit won’t be 0-16 again, but 1-15 is just as depressing.
