12.) New Orleans Saints- Sheldon Rankins DT Louisville
The Saints defense was the NFL’s worst this past season. They started a bunch of rookies and struggled all around. They will look to the draft to continue to find impact players they can put in place to help them succeed. Rankins is a name that is climbing up boards and people feel like he can be a serious NFL threat. The Saints need somebody like that.

13.) Philadelphia Eagles- Ronnie Stanley OT Notre Dame
Jason Peters is turning 34 and coming off injury riddled seasons. The Eagles need somebody to come in and start at LT to replace him. Luckily, Stanley is still on the board. He provides an immediate day one starter at LT and allows Lane Johnson to remain at RT.

14.) Oakland Raiders- Eli Apple CB Ohio State
Charles Woodson retired after the season and DJ Hayden has not lived up to the first round reputation Oakland had hoped for. That leaves David Amerson, a guy they got off waivers as their top corner. Apple was another one who benefited from the Combine. He ran well and performed the skills like he needed to. He’d be a great fit in Oakland.

15.) Los Angeles Rams- Paxton Lynch QB Memphis
He was talked about as being the top QB before Goff outshined him in the bowl game and Wentz excelled at the Senior Bowl. Lucky for the Rams with all of that going on he might slip to fifteen and the franchise can get the new face of LA.

16.) Detroit Lions- Jarran Reed DT Alabama
I expect Detroit to take one of the talented DTs in the draft here. They had some problems with their interior line after losing both Suh and Fairley last season. Reed is one of two talented Bama tackles that should be on the Lions radar.
