CLEVELAND, Ohio- As reported by Elite Prospects and recognized by the KHL’s website, Cleveland Monsters Forward Aaron Palushaj has opted to leave the team for the rest of the year, heading over to Belarus to play for Dinamo Minsk.
Dinamo Minsk is a team that plays in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) and were able to acquire Palushaj through the transfer deadline, where he will join them in the Spengler Cup. It is the second time Palushaj will play in the KHL, last playing there during the 2014-15 season.
Palushaj expressed his gratitude for the Monsters organization and showed excitement for his next opportunity.
