2. Unfamiliar Situation for Conor- Conor McGregor has been used to the UFC’s style of handling press conferences, so he wasn’t necessarily ready for the boxing presentation. He still handled his business with his confident way of hyping up the crowd and threw in some jabs at Floyd. But when he received microphone to argue with Floyd, the microphone was shut off. Bad move by Showtime or whoever was operating the mics. McGregor thrives off of back-and-forth and it was shut down when he had no chance to combat Floyd on the mic. I’m sure Conor knows the boxing style of the press conferences now and it won’t be an issue for him as he will adapt and find ways to anger Floyd without a microphone.
