Last year Lesnar was dominant after winning the belt from John Cena at SummerSlam, and ran with the belt for 8 months, giving it big time credibility that it needed at the time.
Lesnar is a super over face, and while it probably would have to come only having the belt defended once in awhile, it still would be a great decision to give the belt back to the Beast.
Last time he had the belt he was a heel, and now as a super over face he would have a whole new set of contenders to go through, and it would be mainstream attention to give him the belt and have him defend it at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas in front of over 100,000 fans.
