3. Wade Rallies The Troops- When James exited the game, a lot more pressure went on Dwyane Wade to keep the team focused enough to avoid blowing a huge lead. Luckily, Wade has been in pressure-cooker situations for his entire career and had no problem taking the lead role for the remainder of the game.
“I felt that I needed to do something to help this team keep our lead,” Wade said about him taking charge in the fourth quarter of play. “I just got into an aggressive mindset got a couple shots to fall, got a nice assist to Kyle for a long three-ball. When a team is down like that, they’re free of the mind. They don’t think about anything so they’re going to make shots. We just had to put them out.”
Wade had a nice night, finishing with seventeen points along with five rebounds and four assists in twenty-eight minutes. Very quickly, he is making a case for Sixth-Man of the Year for what he has done with the Cleveland second unit after years of minimal production.
