Monday night ESPN mouthpiece Stephen A. Smith threw out some strong words concerning the relationship (or lack of one) between LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.
Smith, on his podcast, stated that James would not take too kindly to Irving if he saw him right now, going so far as to say that “If Kyrie Irving was in front of LeBron James right now, LeBron James would be tempted to beat his ass.”
The talker said that James is upset about the notion that Irving has perceived him as a bad teammate, not about the situation regarding wanting to get dealt by the Cavs to another team.
Today James set the record straight about the quote from Smith, basically shooting down the notion that he wants to do anything physical to Irving.

This doesn’t mean Lebron isn’t upset with Irving, for now it just means that he’s not mad enough to do anything as silly as making it physical – no matter what Stephen A. Smith says.
