The Cavs don’t return to game action until Thursday night and Wednesday could be a good day for Sanders to meet with the organization.
Until more concrete evidence develops, we’ll file this away under “wait-and-see mode,” but it could be a sign of a move to come.
The Cavs currently have two open roster spots, but will likely sign Derrick Williams to a second 10-day contract, leaving only one spot open.
Cleveland will continue to look to address its backup point guard spot and if the Cavs sign Williams and potentially Sanders, the team will have to either make a trade or waive a player to create room for that playmaker.
