The latest development in the Kyrie Irving trade request debacle has arrived and a familiar city linked to Cleveland Cavalier stars has become the center of talks.
That team would be the Los Angeles Clippers, who have now been dubbed as the team Kyrie prefers to play for.
Though they picked up flashy European point guard Miles Teodosic this off-season, we’re sure the Clippers wouldn’t mind running a two-guard set with Teodosic and Irving.

Irving previously stated last month what teams he would play for, and the San Antonio Spurs, New York Knicks, Miami Heat and Minnesota Timberwolves were the four teams he had selected as ideal landing spots.
With rumors coming out each day about more developments in the Irving situation, it will come as no surprise if we see more teams as “ideal fits” for Irving. It just so happens the Clippers are the favored destination right now.
