2. Lonnie Chisenhall, The Pinch-Hitting Wonder
Chisenhall was once again instrumental as a pinch-hitter on Thursday. He came in during the sixth inning for Brandon Guyer, and rocked a two-run RBI double down the right field line to put the Indians up 5-1.
Lonnie Baseball now has nine RBIs and is batting .286 as a pinch-hitter this season. Per The Athletic’s T.J. Zuppe, Chisenhall now has four hits in 14 at-bats as a pinch-hitter, and all have been for extra bases.
His nine RBIs in 2017 are the most in the American League and tied for the most in MLB with the Washington Nationals’ Adam Lind.
Chisenhall has been on a roll as of late, with 19 RBIs over the last 16 games and 21 RBIs in the month of June.
