Kluber K’s 7, Moves to 9-2 as Indians Top Brewers 3-2; Three Takeaways From the ‘W’

1. A Happy Return

Lonnie Chisenhall was in the lineup for the first time since April 7th, the home opener, and it didn’t take long for him to make a welcome impact in the win.

Chisenhall singled to center to score two runs in the second inning, giving the Indians a 2-0 lead over Junior Guerra.

The Tribe outfielder ended the evening 1-for-3 with the two RBI, but you couldn’t take the smile off Terry Francona’s face after the game when asked about how nice it was to have Chisenhall back.

Let’s not forget this is a player who the last two seasons, despite having to work around injuries, hit .286 and .288 with a combined 20 homers and 110 runs batted in.

He can hit, and giving the Tribe a spark at the bottom of the lineup could be a huge key for a team looking to continue the trend of mashing at the plate.
