CLEVELAND– Kevin Love will make his return on Monday night against the Milwaukee Bucks, interim head coach Larry Drew confirmed. Drew also added that Love will be on an undisclosed minutes restriction and will start.
“It’s a huge lift [to have Kevin back],” Drew said pregame. “He gives us that real inside presence along with his ability shoot the ball from the outside. And more than anything, I think we really miss being able to go to someone else inside other than LeBron.”
Love has missed the last 17 games with a fractured bone in his left hand, and has not played since Jan. 30 against the Detroit Pistons.
In other Cavs injury news, Drew said that Kyle Korver will be a gametime decision. He missed the game against the Chicago Bulls do to a personal matter, but has also been experiencing right foot soreness.
