Geneva traveled to Madison on Thursday night to take on the Blue Streaks in a matchup of top Northeast Ohio teams.
Although Madison would score first, Geneva scored the next 35 points en route to a 42-21 victory.
As mentioned, Madison took an early lead when they scored on a 7-yard touchdown pass from Carson Alley to Noah Barnes.

Geneva came right back and scored a touchdown of their own on a 30-yard touchdown run by Hayden Diemer to make the score 7-6 with 3:48 left in the first quarter.

Geneva then added two second quarter touchdowns.
First, Geneva took a 14-7 lead on a 62-yard touchdown pass from Kenny Young to Luke Smith with 6:32 left in the first half.

Late in the second quarter, Geneva scored again when Quarterback Kenny Young connected with Giovanni Rice on a 45-yard touchdown pass to take a 21-7 lead heading into halftime.
After halftime, Geneva scored on a 5-yard touchdown run by Bryce Peet with 5:32 left in the third quarter to take a 28-7 lead.
Geneva took a 35-7 lead with 2:48 left in the third quarter on a 55-yard touchdown down pass from running back Luke Smith to wide receiver Giovanni Rice.

Madison scored a touchdown late in the third quarter on a touchdown pass from Carson Alley to Ryan Radkowski to make the score 35-14 heading into the 4th quarter.
Both teams added fourth quarter touchdowns to make the final score 42-21.
Geneva scored on Kenny Young’s third touchdown pass of the game. Young connected with Logan Queen on a 10-yard touchdown pass.
Carson Alley scored the final touchdown of the game for the Blue Streaks.
With the victory, second year head Coach and Geneva Alum Donald Shymske has led his team to an 8-1 record on the season and a top ranking in OHSAA Region Nine.
Geneva will next face Jefferson Area in a week ten matchup.
Madison will play Conneaut in week ten.
