Donaldson has been doing well in his rehab stints since coming to the Indians back a week ago Friday, hitting homers in starts in both AAA Columbus and in AA Akron.
Ramirez has been working out at second, and Kipnis, who played in center last season during the postseason, has been working on playing in the outfield once again.
Donaldson hasn’t played in a Major League game since May 29th, and this season in 36 games with the Jays he hit .234/.333/.423 with five homers and 16 RBI.
