Joe Thomas is the staple for the Cleveland Browns and has been for the last eleven years. Whether the Browns won or lost, one thing was for sure: Joe Thomas was protecting the quarterback’s blindside. Up until today, Thomas had never missed a snap for the Cleveland Browns.
Unfortunately for Thomas, the streak of 10,363 consecutive snaps has come to a close. Thomas went down late in the third quarter with what was later diagnosed as a triceps injury, forcing him off of the field. As the Browns snapped the ball on the ensuing play, the streak for the left tackle had come to a close.
Twitter let Thomas feel their support and sincere gratitude for what he has given to Cleveland in his career.
Even the Sun goes down
Heroes eventually die
Horoscopes, often lie
Nothin is for sure
Nothin is for certain
