According to various reports, Joe Johnson, who was sought after by the Cavaliers, has committed to signing with the Miami Heat.

A few reasons Johnson may have decided to go to Miami instead of Cleveland and other teams are that he can get more playing time there and the Heat are 32-25, currently the fourth-seed in the Eastern Conference. If Chris Bosh does not return this season, it’s unlikely Miami makes a deep run into the post-season, but there is a possibility of a Cavs-Heat series in April.
Johnson cannot officially sign with a team until he clears waivers, which is expected to happen Saturday evening.
The Cavs may still look to add to their roster with veteran shooting guard Kevin Martin as a possible target.
