For whatever reason, the Utah Jazz have had the Cavaliers’ number in the last three seasons, especially when playing in Salt Lake City.
With Tuesday night’s 100-92 win, the Jazz are now 3-0 at home against LeBron James since he returned to Cleveland in 2014.
Utah (24-16) received 28 points on 10-of-12 shooting from Gordon Hayward.
Five other players reached double figures scoring for the Jazz, who are 14-7 at home this season.
LeBron scored 29 points and Kyrie Irving added 20, but Cleveland was held to only 36.5 percent shooting on the night and shot 9-for-31 from long range.
Kyle Korver made his Cavaliers debut, scoring two points on 1-of-5 shooting in 18 minutes.
Cleveland falls to 28-9 on the season and travels to Portland (16-23) for the second end of a back-to-back on Wednesday night.
Tip-off is set for 10:30 pm ET.
