On Sunday evening the Cleveland Browns and 25th pick of the 2017 NFL Draft Jabrill Peppers agreed to terms and will sign with the team soon.
Peppers was the last draft pick to sign with the Browns. The other first round picks Myles Garrett and David Njoku already signed with the team.
Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson has stated during the spring that Peppers will be playing safety but will see time on the offensive side also.
Jackson had this to say about Peppers:
“He’s a football player, a very dynamic player. Obviously, he’s going to play defense for us, but we’ll find a role for him over there on offense. No question.”
OFFICIAL.@JabrillPeppers has inked his rookie contract!
